The 2012 Olympic Games went better than almost anyone could have expected: wonderful volunteers, fantastic performances, world records and even some sunshine. And the sporting greatness isn’t over yet, as we have two weeks of the Paralympic Games.
In this issue we take a look at the rules and regulations behind three different Paralympic sports and profile which members of team GB could become household names. We also interview two people who are already big names in their respective sports: David Weir, the winner of two gold and silver medals at previous games, and Eleanor Simmons, the first person to break a world record in the Olympics Aquatic centre.
Paul Mumford tells us how there really should be no excuses to not exercise and we also have articles on eating five a day and why exercise can literally be a life saver.
Best of the rest
The bar has been set exceptionally high with the Olympics but we all know that London and the athletes can deliver – so here’s to another great few weeks of sport.
